We have a combined 55 years of experience in motorcycle drag racing. We are hardworking competitive racers who know what it takes to compete & win against the worlds best.

Geoff Pollard – Geoff's racing career began in the mid 80's when he built his first bracket bike and started competing at local events with wife Cheryl. After a move to funnybike in the early 90's Geoff established himself as a Top rider on the National scene with a Canadian record 7.07 run in 1994, 6.86 in 1997, Canada's first 200 mph blast & a national event win in 1999 and a contending national points run in 2000. Determination and a never ending need for speed led Geoff to Top Fuel. Geoff has proven he has what it takes in 2005 setting Canadian records of 6.39 sec / 220 mph and winning in Top fuel at Norwalk to become the only rider in Pro Star history to record wins in Funnybike & Top Fuel. “ I can't wait to get back to the track with Pollard Nitrosports in 2006”.

Greg Pollard – In the early 90's Greg joined with Geoff & Cheryl to form Pollard Racing Canada. With the departure of the team crew chief in late 1994 and no prior racing experience Greg had to get up to speed quickly. Through the 90's Greg's role expanded to become organizer, driver & Crew Chief for the team's 6.80 runs in 1997, the National event win in 1999 and the successful points run in 2000. Greg played a major role in the building and campaigning of our Fuel bike in 2005. Greg is a hardworking tough competitor who loves a challenge and competing against the best in the dragbike racing world.

Stephanie Pollard – Wife of Greg Pollard had her first real exposure to dragbike racing during the Pollard's points run in 2000. Excited by the speed and competition of the sport Stephanie has learned what racing is all about and what it takes to be successful at a professional level. Stephanie will play a larger role with our team helping Pollard Nitrosports prepare for our return to the Nitro wars in 2006.

Aaron Langford - Aaron is the eldest nephew of the Pollard brothers and is a welcome addition to our Nitro team. Aaron graduated in April 2008 with a Heating and Cooling Technician diploma from Fanshawe College. We will certainly put Aaron's mechanical skills to work at the race track.

Jack Learment - Jack With more than 30 years experience as a top local bracket racer Jack brings a lot of experience to our team. Jack is partly responsible for getting Geoff into this crazy sport of motorcycle drag racing and is a long time friend of the Pollard family. Jack has been with us through the building, testing & now the campaigning of our new Top Fuel bike and we are happy to have on board. Along with Mel Harris of Platingmaster in London Jack is responsible for the awesome polished look of our new bike.

Ron Jury - Ron is the latest addition to the Pollard Nitrosports team. Ron has been involved with motorcycle racing for more than 25 years and brings a wealth of motorcycle knowledge to the team. He will fill many roles with the team, including primary driver for the team hauler. Ron will work behind the scene to prepare for the race events and phase into between round bike maintenance & repairs as the Pollard team fine tunes their track procedures during the 2009 season.
